PARKING LOT ISSUE

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS!

The Benavidez-Patterson "All Airborne" Chapter, 82nd Airborne Division Association, has been cited by the City of El Paso for an Unpaved Parking Lot which is a vital aspect of the Chapter Facility. With all of the additional requirements which are being requested by the city to complete the work and comply with code requirements, current estimates are between $50,000 & $55,000 to finance the entire project. As a not for profit, Veterans Organization, the unit does not have, nor will they be able to raise, the required funds without the financial support of Members, Associates and Friends of the Airborne. We therefore, respectfully request donations in any amount to assist with this massive undertaking. Donations are tax deductable with verification available and provided upon request. A GoFundMe Page has been created to accept donations and may be accessed by CLICKING on the below listed LINK. We are currently looking into the options available to us and will soon meet to select the best possible and most cost effective solution to the problem. The most expensive option would be to pave the entire parking lot. However, with all of the requirements necessary to meet city code (i.e. plan development by engineer for approval by city, extension of driveway to support both incoming & exiting traffic, addition of sidewalk, ponding area for drainage, preparation for paving, material & labor for completion of project, etc.), estimated costs are projected to run between $50,000 and $55,000. As a non-profit, Veterans Organization, the chapter would not be able to finance the project without the valuable assistance of Chapter Members, Associates and Friends of the Airborne.  We therefore, are asking for your generous support to assit in this effort. A GoFundMe Page has been established for donations. The LINK is:https://gofund.me/d104255c
